Youth Summer Sailing Camp 2026

Summer Sailing Camp is a fun safe environment for young sailors to learn the basics and more advanced skills required to sail. Our camp develops personal growth and self-confidence. We encourage leadership, sportsmanship & teamwork. We are dedicated to teaching the practical skills and theory of sailing, The kids, ages 8 -15, learn right of way rules, knot tying & rigging, care for & maintaining a sailboat, boating safety, and most importantly, how to have fun on the water.

We offer two sailing day camps.  One for recreational sailing and one for racing.  Sessions are held Monday-Friday for 2 weeks.

Learn to Sail Recreational Camps: Ages: 8 - 15 years old.

Campers will learn the joy of sailing. We will teach them the basics of how to sail as well as the rigging, parts, and proper care of a boat. Both classroom and on water time fills their day, other water and onshore activities ensure plenty of fun rain or shine.  The second week ends with "The Sailing Olympics" a camper favorite. The sessions have been developed to accommodate all levels of students. From beginners with no experience to kids that have taken the camp previously.

Race Camp: Ages 9 -13 years old.

This camp is for sailors interested in learning to race dinghies (optimist or laser sailboats), or improve current race skills. Sailors will operate the dinghy on their own, learning about new racing rules, boat mechanics and racing tactics. This is a great fit for experienced sailors! Previous sailing camp or sailing experience is required.
