Sail Grapevine

Grapevine Community Sailing Education Fund (GCSEF) is a publicly supported non-profit corporation 501 (c) 3 established to support Sailing Education  & competitive sailboat racing activities for junior sailors in North Texas.

 

Our mission is to educate sailors in North Texas. We provide summer sailing classes for Juniors which are an excellent way for kids age 8-16 to learn to sail or improve their skills. We teach everything from the basics to racing, but our main focus is on FUN.

 

Through our volunteer support organization, we provide a year round sailing program for youth who want to learn how to sail or race.  During Summer Camp kids learn to sail on our fleet of RS Zest sailboats.  We also provide a boat charter program that allows sailors to transition into the racing program. Juniors race in Optimist (ages 8-15) or Laser boats (ages 13-18). During weekly practices led by a professional coach they learn the basics of racing and advance in the sport through participation in regattas.  Students of all ages and skills are able to participate.
